Difficulty: rather difficult due to the slope
The
first part of the route, as far as the new Church. is the same as the
previous itinerary. From here we then continue along to Chiesa S.
Bartolo (m 340) and then to the old settlement, today abandoned,
of Montagna (m 500).
For
those who wish to continue they can go as far as the next fork, from
where, turning right we reach the plateau of Dirittusu, after about 30
minutes. Looking to the left we see the highest peaks of the island:
Filo dell'Arpa (m 662), and the Montagnola (m 675).
The
latter is quite difficult and a very good physical fitness level is
recommended for those who wish to climb
